Birthing Embrace offers the 6 week home birth prenatal class series, We Birth At Home, to make you feel confident and prepared for your upcoming home birth. Our multi-day, 15 hour class (six consecutive 2.5 hour weeknight/weekend classes), is set up in a fun and interactive format, encouraging students to get to know each other.
Birthing Embrace offers a 4 hour prenatal class designed to prepare parents for birth in a fast-paced one day class. Learn the basics in one day - stages of labour, comfort measures, coping with pain, interventions, and pain management options.
This class discusses postpartum topics including the benefits of breastfeeding, how to breastfeed, proper latch, breastfeeding positions, tips for breastfeeding successfully, and local community programs and support. Newborn care will also be discussed, offering instruction and ideas on diapering, clothing, bathing, sleeping, and baby wearing.
